very slow perfomance inms office 2003

Hi,
I am facing a problem with ms office 2003,any application is hanging and stop working when i try to use print preview or changing the color or font style,it hangs for around 1 minute and then hangs again.
I am using windows xp sp2 and ms office sp3.the machine is a member in a domain with DC windows server 2003.
Can you please help me.
