Convert Text File to Excel (VBA)

Hi Experts,
Could any experts help me with vba script. I need to expedite my work from doing manually which took a long time to finish daily. The "Original-Text" should look like "Supposed to be" in Excel.

Idea :-
1-click on a button in excel.
2-Choose the text file
3-conversion begin
4-save in a new workbook

Let me clear this:

1. You have a Excel Template.

2. You are clicking on a embeded comand button on that template file.

3. A file Open dialog box opens--you choose the Text File for import into Excel.

4. After Select and Open that text file -- VBA runs -- produce the envisioned out put in say "Sheet2"

Here's the file "Excel Output" you may see there's alot of manual time consuming work to be done daily.

  • Excel-Output.xls
    • 36 KB

    The file name will change according to date every day e.g ( Billing as at '100809'.xls)

All you need to do is save Auto-Import.xls at your Hard Disk and open --> Run the Report

Click on Run Report --> Browse and navigate to the Original-Text.txt --Look at the CalcA Sheet Your desired Report is there.
