Hi,

Check colum A from row 2 and check how many "YES" are there in each row and get the count.
Get the data to a sheet called "Stats"
Yes would be of different cases.

If you are not looking for VBA, this function will check the whole column for Yes. It did not matter if it was UCase or LCase in 2007.

=COUNTIF(A:A,"Yes")

You can change the range to A2:A10000 if you really don't want to check A1

If the data is in a different sheet, add this function to the Stats sheet and enter the sheet name.

=COUNTIF([SheetName]!A:A,"Yes")

While you did tag the question "Excel Macro" I had overlooked the Case issue

This SUMPRODUCT formula does look a little cumbersome, but it will generate a case insensitive summary
