If worksheet 1, cell B2 = ABC, cell B5 = 123, I would like to let the data in cell B2 & B5 auto appear in the cell of the worksheet 2, how??
I know if I put =Sheet1!B2, it will show only data in B2, what abt B5?

If you wanted a space between them then

=Sheet1!A5 & " " & Sheet1!G5

Use this formula, This will ensure that they showif both the values appear in sheet1..Otherwise it will give blank value in return...

=if(and(Sheet1!B2="ABC",Sheet1!B5=123),Sheet1!B2&" "&Sheet1!B5,"")

but how come if I amended the cell (frm B3 change to B5), sometimes it will not show the data, in the cell, it shows the formula =Sheet1!B5 & " " & Sheet1!B6

can you attach a copy of an excel file that shows an instance of where the formula shows instead of the values?  I am curious why it would do this as well.

How odd!  When I copied and pasted the exact same formula in the cell below it, it worked.

I noticed that the checkmark "calculate" button is missing on it.

I wish I could help, I am not sure why it does it either.

When this happens I noticed that once you highlight the cell and in the box at the top which shows the formula.  Click once in the box where the cursor is in it and then click the "checkmark" to calculate.  The cell then showed up correctly for me.

Your cell is formated as text, that is ctrl+1 over it and you will see its text change it to general and then hit f2 and enter and you will see the formula result...
