Copy worksheet from multiple workbook with name criteria

Asked by RiCzN in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheet Software

Tags: excel 2003

Hi
I would like to copy a worksheet(sheet1) from multiple source workbooks (all saved in a common location) to the activeworkbook currently opened.

For example:
Active Workbook Name: wb1_workbook1
Folder: "C:\Example Location\" which contain the following workbooks
wb1_a
wb1_b
wb1_c
wb2_a
wb2_b
wb2_c

I would like the macro to
1. search in the folder location for workbooks containing the name "wb1"
2. copy worksheets("sheet1") from the file located in step1 to activebook wb1_workbook1

Thanks
