How do I have a second drop down list in Excel dependant on another drop down?

Hello,
I need to reference a second drop down list based on the choice in the first one. I have been trying data validation, but can't get a formula right.
There is a drop down category with around 45 possible choices. Based on which category is chosen, this limits the 2nd option values. Pls see doc attached.
