Standard toolbar is missing from Excel 2003
My standard toolbar option is missing from under the view menu. I have tried to reset the the worksheet menu bar under customize. It still does not show.

Do you see the checkbox for Standard in Customize > Toolbars? See my question above.
Are you maybe showing Standard and Formatting toolbar in one row? Check the settings in Customize > Options
Also, try the button "Reset menu and toolbar usage data" on that tab to set things back to default.
Since you could not find any xlb files: Did you search in hidden and system folders? You need to include these.

Thanks to both of you.
click the bottom of the toolbar where there are no buttons, until you see a up/down arrow, then drag it down.
