Hi Experts,

need to do one procedure while clicking button add to database in WB Math G it create new WB with specific format & save to hard corded destination path in code.

Step 1 copy data from WB Math G range L:W
Step 2 Sort Date oldest to new
Step 3 save as name = L1 i.e. "Test" in attached example.
Step 4 save to hard coded location.

Is this what you want ?
Activate the button save database and then look where the file has been saved it should be in the same directory when you save this current file !!!

Let me know we can fine-tune.

Four things
1.Column B data round off to (No decimals).
2.date is oldest first & latest last.
3.Save path is C:\Data G\ (hard coded in Code itself)
4.Name as "Test" as cell value L1 in Math G = "Test" if there is "ABC" then name it "ABC".

remove messages as there is 2 message box pop up - remove it.

ok I have 2 problems:

No problem with the coded path "C:\Data G\" if it is not there it will be created.

my problems are:

1) you want to suppress the msgbox, that's fine however, if user by mistake press on Add to Database, how will he know that it has been saved correctly if nothing is said. I would suggest at least the last one to say File so and so saved successfully.

2) You asked for Col B to be no decimal that is ok HOWEVER you have also Col D, E, F and G are also same as Col B should they also be No decimal ?

Agreed ok with message box.

Yes but i dint find decimals point in that columns that is why i ignored.

What it is full of Decimals !!!
You are mistaken with the columns I guess:
Col D E F G
Open High low Close

Shall I have them also no decimals ?
and comes to nice formatting you mind having them with coma at the 0000 ?
like 5,234 instead of 5234

easier to read. For the msgbox I put one at the end !

ohhhh my bad D E F G required decimals, it is actual trading points.
not required coma as i am used to with without coma & i required this data for only calculation purpose i dint see this data at all (D E F G).i see only final results which is not in this process. this very first step of calculation. did you ever heard of W.D Gann.i am working on his strategy.

so bottom line what we have ?
B no decimal
D-G Decimal 2 ??? as now you have values 5432.2 and 6434.45 and 6522 shall I go ahead and do ####.00 ?

Not Now Sir - Stage 1 Clear - Now doing calculation part - it is easy by formula once we understand but to understand it is too difficult.

Still missed naming part as it is saved as "DB-04-Feb-2014 0025" but actually it should be "Test". "Test" is actually name for testing it will be differ is real scenario.

no only test is fine as in future need to add points (Data) by finding its name from whole folder.

so if you run it now it will be Test.xlsx and run it again with different values in 1 hour it will be Text.xlsx and override the previous ???

Not like that - now we are populating whole historical points, but after we done over calculation part it wont be like this process - it is like one row line data as & when it appears & add to data base in bottom.

test.xlsx if there is cell L1= Test if cell L1 = xyz then xyz.xlsx

Well when you need something just put a message in here ... and when I reply will tak it from there. I usually always keep the last question opened and monitored so that when you need something you drop a line then I can assist with whatever. I cannot commit a certain time as with timezones differences everything changes.
