HELP! Everything has stopped calculating...
After forging question through question to evolve with the perfect spreadsheet, suddenly totals quit updating. Even a simple running balance column subtracting credits from debits no longer updates with entries without hitting F9 with each entry. I am at a loss. Spreadsheet attached.

Thank you. That solved all of the problems, except one! Cell P61 in the MEMOandSETUP sheet no longer updates when cell E9 in any of the JE sheets receives a value.
Revised version of spreadsheet is attached.

You need to enable macros for it..since it's a user defined function..I'm assuming you using excel 2003..you need to enable it by going under macro which is by..
-->Navigate to ‘Tools’ tab > ‘Macro’ > ‘Security’.
--> After clicking on the ‘Security’ option, a Security window will open. It will show you all the security levels that you can select for your macros.

Three is the present correct answer. However, delete the entry to E9 in PG-3 or add an entry to E9 or PG-4 and nothing happens!

The problem with PG-3 is that your worksheet_change event is limited to detecting changes in j8:J46 so change that to whatever you need.
The same is true of PG-4.

That did the trick. Thanks for the changes.
Since you calculation is Manual right now...
