PHP file_get_contents failed to open stream: No such file or directory

I have encounter an error but I have no idea how to solve it. When I run the script in the server there is no error but when run in the workstation there is a error in [function file_get_contents]failed to open stream: No such file or directory .

Can you please show a bit more of your script. What is $uploadfile for example?

Do you run the code on your workstation through a web server process as well or directly through command line? How do you get the $uploadfile variable?

On a related topic, did you check the built-in pathinfo() function [1]?

 The $uploadfile is get an attachment from the the form after click on submit button it will go through checking steps by steps.  <input type="file" name="uploadfile" size="150" value="" /> . I run the code at workstation through a web server process by using the http://

Can we see the rest of your code so that we can get a more complete picture of what might be going wrong? I assume you are assigning to $uploadfile some entry in $_FILES? Have you moved the uploaded file from its temporary folder to a permanent location on the server yet?

Check in the php.ini used that t he upload folder exists and has the proper permissions for the web server. And also check that, if set, open_basedir has the upload folder listed in it as well.
