Hyperlink warning message in PPT 2007

i have a PPT presentation that links to a web page i am running through IIS on my local machine. the problem is that everytime i click on the link i get a warning message that the link could contain viruses or could harm my system. i have to verify each time i open the file that i do in fact want to open the URL. i have gone through all the links on MS KB site and nothing resolves the issue. what seems even more odd is that i can link to a web page, google.com, for example without the popup message. but as soon as i link to the file on my local system to run through my local version of IIS i start getting the message.

i have added the file path to the folder that contains my pages for IIS to the trusted location section in PPT but that has not stopped the message.

has anyone ever run across this before? is there a workaround?Start Free Trial
