Video in Powerpoint plays without the visuals.

I'm working on a machine (Dell Latitude D620) with PowerPoint 2000. The user has inserted a video on a slide and when viewing the show, you can hear the video playing, but only get a black screen. The other slides appear fine when continuing on with the slideshow, it just seems to be that one slide that contains the video with the issue. The kicker is that I copied all of the files needed to run the show onto a USB thumbstick, tried playing the show on the same machine, and the video worked fine. Any ideas?Start Free Trial
