I would like to show a powerpoint slide, which has the starwars galaxy as background (where the stars seems to be blinking and there's shooting stars).. if you watch starwars, it always shows the story highlights in the beginning, i like to create that effect with my own words, is this possible?
also lastly, i need a nice countdown of 10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1 on powerpoint with some good colours effects.

You won't be able to put anything on top of a Flash file in PPT, though. You'd be better off creating an animated GIF for the stars background. http://www.indezine.com/no
Just find a flashing stars animated gif and tile the background of the slide with it.

I think your best bet is to make a flash image of what you want, and then put that onto a powerpoint slide.
As for the countdown, how about 10 slides with timed transitions?
