Wow. It seems to have fixed it.
How weird that you need that. I had a Ricoh network printer installed, but it obviously needed the laserjet.

Powerpoint 2007 slow to start presenting slide show
I am having problems with PPT 2007. When I start presenting a slide show it takes between 5 to 10 seconds before the second monitor displays. PPT2007 seems to hang until it starts displaying and then everything is ok. Stopping the slildeshow also take some time.
I have a new Dell desktop and high performance NVIDIA graphics card so both are powerful enough. I am running XP Pro on a domain.
I have tried disabling antivirus on-access scanning.
I am not sure if there is a setting on the graphics card software, or if its a ppt thing.
I have tried playing around with ppt and windows graphics acceleration but still have the same problem.
Any ideas ?
