Convert hours:minutes to decimal

Hi...I made a timesheet in excel that coverts daily hours, like in 9:00 leave 18:00.  and it will convert it being there for 9 hrs.  so at the end of the week, it would say i was there for 38:30 hours...but i want it to be 38.50 hours.  how can i do this...i have in G12 38:30...right below it i want it to say 38.50 hours, etc.  thanks.  Start Free Trial
