I have a sheet in Excel
A               B                     C
Date          Particular          Amt
12/12/99     ABC                 $10.00
01/12/00     IJK                   $19.00
12/13/99     DEF                 $5.00
10/12/00     LMN                 $12.00
12/31/99     FGH                 $2.00

I want output as follows
D       E
1999   $17.00
2000   $31.00

I want sum of amounts by year
What should be the formulas in column E ???
