Converting to hex and binary.....

I am trying to produce an excel spreadsheet that can convert a decimal value in the range of 0 to +127 to a binary equivalent, can convert a signed decimal value in the range of -128 to +127 to a signed binary equivalent. I also want to produce a table to do the same for decimal to hexadecimal (This one I want to use a look up table containing 16 values (obviously 0-F). I need to do this without using the functions DEC2HEX, DEC2BIN() ect. i.e I want the relevant calculations that are used to do this and any info that you may have that will make my job a bit easier. I have a fair knowledge of excel, but very little knowledge of binary and hex conversions. I just don't know what calculations I need or how to input them into excel (Although I do know what two's compliment is!!LOL)
