I checked 2 weeks ago for the last time, and ture still had more than 10000 pts to cover, seems like EE is pretty active these days.

"ture is no1"
Not in my book, Cal.
Glad to see you back!

I don't believe this!!!!! Last time I 'peeked' about week ago, Cal was still #1 and Ture #2.
What I want to know is, how come I didn't reclaim ranking from Cri :o)
Moondancer has a lot answer for!
www.antrat.com
ya know, I don't know how exact the top 15 is... we've been complaining to austin for weeks... tho he keeps telling us that it is correct, the numbers don't match - there are/were two CS Qs concerning this. Moondancer is *trying* to get it fixed, but since austin won't even acknowledge a problem..
anyway, the ta points and the history points don't match. and according to ture's and cal's histories - CAL HAS MORE POINTS!!!!
ture's msoffice history shows: 307086 Expert Points
cal's msoffice history shows: 332332 Expert Points
so....
hate to put a damper on the parade...
Yes that right, it's a complete 'cock-up' I'm the 'real' number 1 :o)
Kind Regards

Perhaps the cause is the windfall points we are getting from the correction of the "-1 questions". According to my memory and rudimentary bookkeeping, these went missing from the stats during the ill fated "Jrun" rewriting, but the experts points were not lost. I tried to communicate this to Moondancer in http://www.experts-exchang
CRI! Wow! This is like "old home week"!
Now that I have you all here....
I just want to say that you guys are the BEST!
And if I had some HTML here, the word "BEST" would be italicized, bolded, underlined and in 1,000,000-point Broadway font!!!!
(oh, and I can be found at Dreamboat@TheWordExpert.co
Dreamboat, guess there's not much too add to that...other then that i want to thank you all for the fun i had here with the few who remained after all these years.....maybe we even get ahammar, vboukhar, okki or noggy back with the incredible work of Moondancer
btw do we all have such big egos to have our own domain name and building our own businesses ;O)
Hi all
I'm afraid I wont be making much of an appearance (stop clapping cri :o)). Seem to get plenty of questions sitting in my inbox these days.
bruintje,
>btw do we all have such big egos to have our own domain name and building our own businesses ;O)
I don't have a big ego, just a big head :o). No building either, have to work from home.

Proof:
My first ever posted question on EE (how little I knew about XL then):
http://www.experts-exchang
hmmmm.......that looks like proof but a B?
btw is it new that we write such long snippets of code these days or is that just a coincidence........
a colleague of mine showed me another good code question this morning, he used to make some real nice charts in APL, now he wants them into XL.....
and these are not your average line or bar charts, but relative bar-in-bar percentage charts composed of 6 or 7 different but related data series
he will give me some small data sample tomorrow.....they will be even better to crack then the conditional formatting of those bars in the other Q in this forum
and maybe i'm gonna need the help of the bunch presented here.....
sorry cal... with all those compliments to ture ("best man of the company")... sounds like your buttering up your alternate ego! not buying it!
bruin *blush* awww, thanks :-D that's the nicest thing anyone's ever said. My goal is to rule the roost - or be neo's queen *lol* - there is NO WAY I'll catch up to him - I don't have that type of time!
charts *yuck!* don't know a thing about 'em!
exactly! we're still not quite convinced, of course calacuccia/Ture could post a question and answer it himself in the same thread without any of us knowing the difference ;)
starl > with your wit it's a pitty we lost reddarin along the way......a pre neo king in outlook.......he could've delivered some strong resistance against the up and coming and you could've been the third one picking up the first place.......
Bruintje,
Looks like I'm going to have to keep you busy over here ;-)
I'm looking forward to the crack temptation of the graphs you were mentioning above.
Regarding code snippets, I believe the long code snippets started appearing when ture, antrat, noggy and myself were almost competing to provide the quickest, cleanest and completest code for the same question around spring 2000. Since then, I've seen long code snippets very often.
yeah you're going to keep me very busy ;)
but i think i'm branching out into vb and access since my only target is a top 50 position in the overall list and since you're target is first place here i see no chance for me to get into the top 4 for a long time.......i realize now i missed the fun and have to pay a steeeeeep price ;)
about the graph, i got a simple description today.....i'll have to go over it a few times break it up in a few little things and post some questions over here.....i must resist the temptation of not doing it all alone....because some good input is available here
