It works great and can be undone easily, too! Thanks a million for providing such a quick answer to a dilemma that has perplexed me for months.

Browse All TopicsHere's my dilemma. I maintain several Excel worksheets with scores in them and wish to be able to print out each individual's scores from time to time for their review (in case I have made clerical errors during data entry). In the past, I have printed the spreadsheet, then cut each line of data with scissors-- messy AND time consuming, and the lines lack the valuable headers. Is there an easy way to print out each line as a single page, possibly with some formatting, even? I have Excel 2000 if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

Dreamboat you're right, even with things that seem to work perfectly fast and efficient there are always other ways not thought of yet to make those good solutions seem ancient

Step 1:
File-Page setup, Sheet tab. Set rows to repeat at top to encompass your heading rows.
Step 2:
Data-Subtotals. Choose to subtotal by a column that has a unique value in every row (even if you have to temporarily create that column with numbers 1 through whatever). Choose the *page break between* option in the subtotals.
That should do it for ya. Of course, someone will come along with some VBA code that you might like better.
