Excel file in use error, but the file is not in use!

I am trying to run an excel spreadsheet, but each time i open it, it says it is being modified by another user, would i like to open it as read only, or be notified when it is available.

the problem is that it is not in use by anyone else. any thoughts?Start Free Trial
