the Shortcut Bar isn't installed in Office XP by default
first check in All Programs>MS Office Tools
If it ain't there Start Office Setup, pick Add/Change and install it, should be under Tools after that
if it's not already in the startupfolder after install then
look for a program called msoffice.exe and you can drag a shortcut to your startup folder so it starts automatically next time

Quick question, SKKI1.
Do you have a "Microsoft Office Tools" option in your Start->All Programs menu?
If so, it should be in a submenu under there.
