Backup Office XP Professional with Frontpage CD - No default path so cannot update

I'm currently away from home visiting relatives and brought my home PC's hard drive with me to install on my cousin's spare PC and a hoard of backup CD's of Windows, Office, and all my other important programs to use during the 3-month visit.

However, I'm having trouble updating Office now - the update downloads easily enough but on installation it asks me to insert the CD which I happily do. Unfortunately, the location in the dropdown menu (next to the Browse button) shows #% and nothing I select makes it use the correct directory.
