Mail Merge - Using SQL Server

Hi guys

I am trying to do a mail merge in Ms Word. I have set the mail merge up and it works fine.

However the date field comes out like this:

2005-05-12 15:27:30.157000000

In the SQL Database its in this format:

12/05/2005 15:27:30

How do I get it to look like : 12/05/2005 (dd/mm/yyyy)

Any help will be great

Display the merge field by pressing alt-f9 and add a formatting switch to the end of the field:
{ Mergefield Date \@ "mm/dd/yyyy" }
