Slow browse
User default office 2003 location for save any office file and add attachment to email is MyDocuments. He normally wants to use home folder on server. pressing drop down arrow to select other location can take up to 2min. to populate. Is there reg key to change all office and outlook default location. Also any suggestions on speeding up browsing. this did have mapped drive to remote share over vpn client, I have since turned that to Man. connection thinking this was always looking toward other network. No change. Help greatly appreciated. thanks

a couple of mapped drives to local server have red question mark on them, but when you click on them shares on server open. In drop down for save or attach there is only subfolders of myDocuments, not normal C, Desktop, mapped drives, etc.

If you've checked the mapped drives and they're all ok, that delay shouldnt be there. 99% of the time thats what causes the delay.
A workaround is, instead of hitting the drop down, you can type "c:", "u:" etc into the 'file name' box of the open/save dialogs to change to that drive without involving the drop down. I have a similar delay due to a connection to an as/400 box, and I change drives this way to avoid the delay.
