The Solution Rating System

With so many solutions, how can you tell which solutions are most likely to help you and which ones are not? To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating.

  • The Grade of the Solution
  • The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
  • The Number of Author and Expert Comments
  • The Number of Experts Contributing
  • The Feedback of the Community

Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. When you provide your feedback, each rating is adjusted accordingly. So, if you see a solution that has a poor rating that you think is a good solution, let us know by rating it. As you do, the rating will be adjusted and will become more accurate for other members of our site.

If you have any suggestions that you would like to make for our rating system, please ask a question in the Suggestions Zone of Community Support.

Thank you!

Avoding logo as an attachment in Outlook 2003 Signature

Greetings EElings
I have read responses to a number of questions of a similar nature to this but I'm not happy with the responses. So I've upped the ante and plastered the maximum score on this question in an attempt to find an innovative response.

I have attached a logo in my signature block which Outlook sees as an attachment. The main problem this generates is that some recipients have email clients that treat my messages as spam and shove them in junk email. I am not happy changing message format to html and creating a link to the jpeg instead because again filters prevent download and recipients just get a nasty looking red 's'. I've been sitting so long trying to figure out a workaround that I've got a red 's' myself. So far I've tried to use the advanced editor for signature blocks and used Word to create a background but the background doesn't come out and even if it did I guess I'd have no control over the location of the logo. Next I thought about creating my own font so I could just include my logo that way (even though one part of the logo is quite unlike any letter in the roman alphabet). I looked at a couple of shareware demos for font editors, but they didn't grab me.

So, can someone reccommend another way forward or alternatively if someone can give me the name of a good font editor so I simply turn any image I want into a symbol that would be brilliant
cheers
