nope still nothing happens, just says it encountered an error during setup

Browse All TopicsRecently i've tried to install office 2007, but during the installation an error occured and nothing works, office wont start, and what's worse i cant uninstall it from the add/remove programs panel, i've tried everything, can anyone help!?

Sure, I have used WinCleaner by Business Logic. You can get it from this site listed below. I have used over the last two years and the failure ratio is 70:1. For about every 70 uses 1 tends to screw so bad that it requires a rebuild.

This is what I did...Delete the folder listed under Program files (Office or MSOffice), then open regedit and HKEY_Current_User->Softwar e-> Microsoft-> Office (expand it) and delete 12.0, excel, word, outlook. Do the same for HKEY_Local_Machine. Reboot machine and try re-installing. Make sure to delete all the "temp files" under document and settings%user% local settings% temp folder prior to re-installing the program. Do not delete the actual folder.
