I've pasted a series five of screenshots in MS. I'm now trying to put oval lines or rectangles in each of these screenshot images to highlight certain things on each of the images. Here is my problem.
MS Word pastes these obects as "pictures" which means its very difficult to "move" these images around the document. In old version of MS Word, you could include them in frames. Now I, rightly or wrongly, the only way I can move the images by dragging them is by right clicking on the image, selecting format, then layout and then choosing the "square" option. By doing this I can then drag the image up, down, left and right. I can then also draw tranparent lines over the image. Great.
Now my problem is that all the other images just overlapping with the first image. Its driving me nuts! The whole document gets screwed up because of the formatting change. If I change the format from "square" to "In line with text", I lose the ability to move the image up down and sideways as it will only move down and the arrow has a small image of a box next to it as I move the image. Useless.
There is probably a very easy solution, but I cant seem to find anyone who can tell me. And please, no suggestions about using Power point or some other package to do this. Its just a few simple screenshot images with some lines on it, not a art work that needs a specialist package.
Thanks.
