Reroute temporary folder for Outlook attachments
I know the Outlook temporary file location is control by this reg key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software
Value Name: OutlookSecureTempFolder
Date Type: REG_SZ
Here is my questions:
1) what is the proper way to change it to %HomeUser% or C:\my documents instead of C:\Documents and Settings\username\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\OLKxxx.
2) what are the draw back if I make such changes.

Hi, et73.
1. I don't know that there is a "proper" way to make the change. Proper in this context implies that changing the registry key has to be done in one particular way. Any method that changes the key will be fine. You could do that from a login script, manually, via a link, etc.
2. The only drawback I can think of is that folks will see every attachment they ever open in My Documents. That could be confusing for some people.
