Delete duplicate query problem syntax

I am trying to delete duplicate entries using this delete query but I've gone wrong in the syntax somehow
Delete * FROM OUTSTANDING
WHERE OUTSTANDING.Check not in (select last(OUTSTANDING.check) fromOUTSTANDING
GROUP BY OUTSTANDING.ID, OUTSTANDING.Amount, OUTSTANDING.Date, OUTSTANDING.Division, OUTSTANDING.Dept, OUTSTANDING.SS, OUTSTANDING.Cleared, OUTSTANDING.Void
