Odd Deleted Items Issue

I have an odd issue in Outlook 2007. Whenever i click on the deleted items folder, Outlook will hang. The folder will eventually open, but it takes 15-30 seconds to do so. It does not matter if the folder is populated or empty. No other folders exhibit this issue.

Sometimes I am even unable to restore an item from the deleted items folder unless I restart Outlook.

So far i have run repair using the ScanPST tool. Errors were found and fixed, but the issue remains. I have also run Office Diagnostics, but no issues are found.

The PST file itself is under 700MB. I am running on Vista 64 Ultimate with an Intel C2D and 2GB of memory. Everything otherwise performs well. Start Free Trial
