Has anyone resolved this Excel 2007 error?

I have a Windows Vista Ultimate machine with Office 2007.  Excel 2007 gives the following error when opening, "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\Office13\Excel is not a valid win32 application."  I tried running an office repair and same problem.  I tried reverting the file to a previous date under properties and same problem.  

The weird thing is, if I reboot the PC Excel will work fine for a few days and then it will give the same error until I reboot again.  One thing I did recently was upgrade Vista to SP1.  Office 07 has the latest updates.  I was reading an article in a forum and someone had tried to re-install Office and still same problem.  Maybe it's an issue with Vista SP1 that Microsoft is not aware of.  Any help is much appreciated.  Thanks.Start Free Trial
