Hello,
One of my users is having a problem with the 24 slot clipboard feature when they take screen captures with the print screen key. they get the error Item not collected: Delete items to increase available space., i had her run the service pack for office and she says it didn't fix it. her laptop has 4gb of ram xp pro . Short of Re-installing office 07 are their any fixes you know of? i can't reproduce the problem on my pc.

There are large items on the Office Clipboard
The Office Clipboard may stop adding items even if there are fewer than 24 if you copy large items to it. The Office Clipboard can contain up to 4 megabytes (MB) of data if system RAM is less than 64 MB, or 8 MB if system RAM is 64 MB or greater. To begin copying items again, delete some items or click Clear All on the Office Clipboard. If a single item is larger than 4 MB or 8 MB, you cannot copy the item to the Office Clipboard.
...perhaps that alt-print screen idea isn't too far off?

repeatable issue? are they getting it when hitting print screen? if not, can you try pasting into paint when it fails in word or powerpoint?
also, for efficiency, is alt-print screen (copy active window, instead of full screen) an option?
