Cannot update bound text box

If I create a new Access database, create a new table with a field "Name", then create a form with a text box bound to the table's "Name" field, I can use the form to enter names into the text box and the names will update in the table. - But I have a previously created database that I am trying the same thing in, but after binding the text box, it will not allow me to type in it. The text box is not locked. I cannot figure out what is keeping me from updating or typing in the text box. Any ideas?Start Free Trial
