open Tif file under Outlook 2007

We have just updated from Office 2003 to Office 2007 and we are unable to open and print TIF files that we receive.  How do we do this?

  1. Save the TIF file to the desktop. 
  2. Right click on the TIF file and choose "Open With" (if it doesn't appear in the list, try holding the Shift key down while right-clicking) 
  3. Click "Choose default program" 
  4. In the window that appears, look for "Microsoft Office Picture Manager" and click it ONCE to select - you may need to click the + sign next to "Other Programs" 
  5. Check the box that says "Always use the selected program to open files of this type" 
  6. Click "OK" 
  7. Close the Picture Manager. 
  8. Now every time you double click a TIF file, it should open with Microsoft Office Picture Manager and you can print it.
