To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. I just completed a complete NEW install of XP-Pro 2002 on a NEW 320GB HDD. After gettting ALL the Microsoft updates installed (current to Apr 2009 SP3) and XP-PRO office 2002 - i started getting these error message everytime i reboot.

"microsoft excel has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience."
and
"microsoft powerpoint has encountered a problem and needs to close. we are sorry for the inconvenience."

I click ok and they seem to work - but on reboot i get these messages.
