Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. I want to create a Word document that would serve as a template, and have it pull data from a local SQL 2000 database. Let's just say a basic letter would serve as the template, and the sql connection would pull the person's name, address, etc. I would think a use prompt would appear so that only a specific a user name is selected to generate the letter. I need assistance developing the SQL connection, and then pulling specific sql table fields based on filter criteria dictated by the user, i.e. person's name, etc.
