To provide you with a tool to use, we rate our solutions based on various elements that most accurately determine if a solution is a quality solution. To explain what factors affect the solution rating, here are the elements we take into consideration when formulating our solution rating. - The Grade of the Solution
- The Zone Rank of the Expert Providing the Solution
- The Number of Author and Expert Comments
- The Number of Experts Contributing
- The Feedback of the Community
Your Input Matters
Because of the way the system is set up, the most important variable in this equation is you. As a member of Experts Exchange, you are able to cast your vote on the quality of the solutions in regard to how complete, accurate, helpful and easy to understand each solution is. I have to install MS Office Pro 2003 for an app that can't use 2007, but only have media for Office Pro 2007--the software vendor said I could buy license and media for 2007 because they don't offer 2003 anymore, then use downgrade rights to install 2003. I have 2003 media that I used to install on another PC, when I install it and put in the key for the 2007 license, it just says it's invalid key. I could probably use the original 2003 key, but isn't that invalid, too, since the license is already in use on another pc? So how do I install 2003? Is there some way to just get the media without buying another license? The vendors weren't at all helpful in how to resolve this. They just said all their other customers had found a way around it. Thanks!
