Microsoft office professional plus 2007 encountered an error during setup

I am trying to move office 2007 from c: to d:.

After I uninstalled office from c:, I cannot install it into d:. It said microsoft office professional plus 2007 encountered an error during setup.

I deleted the office folder in c and try to search a r*.* file referred by web, but still cannot solve it.

Any suggestion? Thanks.

Guys - I just thought that I'd add this comment:

I suffered from this for hours with a new client! I ended up issuing this from the cmmand prompt:

cd \
cd %allusersprofile%\application data\microsoft help
atrrib -h *.lck
del *.lck

And it worked! There was no rgstrtn.lck file, but there were others. Killed the lot and the installation went through.
