Ok I have looked at that and the only thing that could possibly apply here is the damaged cd and the fact that I can copy the cd should mean it is fine and I tried the dir /s command as well, no errors came up.

I am trying to install Office Basic 2007 for a client and am unable to. Early on the install it pops up a message "Setup cannot to Find Excel.en-us\ExcelLR.cab. Browse to valid installation source, and then click OK." I have done this and it then pops up a message stating that it is an "Invalid location"
Things I have tried: rebooting machine, copying the specific cab file onto HD and pointing there , copying entire cd onto HD and running from there and pointing to HD as well as CD, all without any luck. Also tried turning off AV, which is Norton at the moment, but that will be changing.
It is a legit retail CD. The computer is running Vista Business SP1. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
