The Conditional Sum and Lookup Feature addins cause errors when clicked. "Could not load an object because it is not available on this machine." This error pops up twice for both addins when checked.
Is there a way to fix the addins without re-installing office?
No..If it says that..it meants the add-in is not loaded into pc and there is no other way to load it again..till the time you repair or reinstall office..I would recommend..rather then re-installing office..you should just Hit the repair button on setup menu..and it take care of this issue as well...
Well doing the "Detect and Repair" from inside Excel doesn't help. What do I need to back up before re-installing Office? My chief concern is this guys e-mail. His PST files are 2GB each. Just moving those is a chore, and I definetly don't want to lose them.
Well PST acts as storage file..and reinstalling the office wont corrupt them as they are totally a different thing all together...Also i would like to bring to your notice that PST when crosses over 1GB it becomes highly unstable and gets crashed...so its advisible that you make a PST after 1 GB max because after that it can crash any moment specially if you are having a hard time....
uninstalling office and re-installing doesn't help. Using the same installation files I have other machines that it works on. These two laptops I recently received came with Office on them, but I had to uninstall them. Any other suggestions from anyone?
