Dymo Label add-in

I have recently been using the DYMO label writer(printer) for printing addres labels. It seems to have added an add-in to ms word that causes word to start up kind of slowly.

I called there Tech Support and they said there is no way of removing MS WORD add-in.

Shouldnt there be a way of removing any add-in if unwanted?

Have you tried Tools/Templates and Add-ins...?
There is a Remove button on the Templates tab.

I've deleted all these files, but it keeps on coming back...

I've deleted normal.dot but always includes those addins. There must be something telling it to always return
Strange...

Out of curiosity, check your COM addins:
1. Open Word and go to Tools > Customize
2. Click the Commands tab
3. Select the Tools Category on the left and you'll see a COM Addins... button on the right
4. Drag is up onto the toolbar and drop it off somewhere (next to Help is always a good stop)
5. Close the customize window and click the button - see if it's listed and if you can disable it

Just for fun, also have a look at the Office startup folder (your folder might just be Office under "Microsoft Office"):
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP

If you can't find this folder (it's different with different versions of Word/Office), just search your system for files and folders named "Startup".  When the search is complete, check all of the folders that reference Office or Word, including the Word startup folder (just to make sure it's all gone).

Let us know...

It was in the startup folder in PROGRAM FILES, that did it

thanks
Hooray!  You're welcome!  :)
C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\STARTUP

deleting the dymo add-in from the location above resolved my issue
thanks
