Hi,

Word file which is a document with lots of data and website links.How can i make all the links hyperlinks.
They are just like a line.Is there a way a macro or inbuilt way.That can change all these to hyperlinks.So that i can click on them to open the web page.

Don't need a macro.

Choose Format menu > Auto Format.
Click on Options.
Make sure Internet and network paths with hyperlinks is checked.
Click Ok.
Click Ok again.

I cannot find the Format menu.
In word 2007

In word 2007 the format menu has been replaced by the Home tab in the new ribbon.

Hi, Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. I have carried out some more investigation, and it appears that the commands for hyper links are differnet in word 2007 (new to it myself). However I found a link that tells you how to switch off auto format (see first reply), this gives the location of auto format so you should be able to turn it on by reversing the procedure
