Remove English (United States) from Word 2007
Hello
I am finding it improssible to remove English (United States) option for many documents in Word 2007 running on Vista Ultimate
I have turned off detect langauge automatically and I have tried removing US langauage with Office Tools langauage settings, it keeps coming back though - default option is UK
On many documents I change the kanguage to English United Kingdom but within a few seconds it changes back to English United Sates
Extremely irritating - please help

Or misspell something > right Click it > Language > Set Language > Select UK > Click Default > Answer YES to set UK as the default. > OK
I only have the Englush UK input Locale and my Office 2007 has UK and US so I dont think you can actually remove the US settings
Office Button > word options > Popular > Language Settings Select English (United States) > Remove > Ok > OK

Ah yes it does - my appologies
Im guessing that from http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/word/HA100245231033.aspx because you selected English (united states) when you installed Office you cannot remove it

Thanks
The above gave me an idea, I did ctl A to select all text in the document then marked the selected text as language English UK seems to have done the trick for the document I had a problem with which had come from another user
