How to reset bulleting in Word

I am using Office 2007 professional on XP SP2.

For one reason or the other, my default numbering/bulleting points in Word are screwed up.  The spacing is really out of wack to where it spaces way too much when tabbing for another child bullet point.  I believe there is some profile setting which I can use to change back to the default, how can I do this?

sounds to me like all you need to do is make a tiny adjustment to the bullet list you are using.
On the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering, and then click the tab for the type of list you want to modify.
Click the Bullet or Numbered Tab and choose the one you altered.

Now click on the Customize Button

Look under Text position and Tab Space after: and Indent at:

Change these values to what you want then click on OK and OK again.

To Reset any Bullet or Number Style:
On the Format menu, click Bullets and Numbering, and then click the tab for the type of list you want to modify. Next click on the Style you changed then click Reset then OK.
Good Luck.

not so simple :) jk

I don't see within Office 2007 where the "Format" menu is and where I can select a tab for the type of list I want to modify.

is this located in Office 2007?
