Hide page navigation buttons in reading mode Word 2007

Is it possible to hide the navigation buttons in word 2007 reading mode? I never use them and they take up space. Can you do it with vba?

You mean that little toolbar at the top that has view options, page navigation, and some other stuff on the left? I'm not aware of any way to remove that. But if you're looking to just view a document full-screen, you can do that by viewing in full-screen mode:

1. Click the down arrow on the Quick Access Toolbar
2. under Choose Command From, select Commands Not in the Ribbon, or All Commands
3. Then, find Toggle Full Screen View
4. Click the Add >> button
5. Click OK

Then, when you want to view a document in full screen, just hit the button.

One thing though: in full screen mode, you can only get one page at a time, not two side-by-side like you can in reading view.

Thanks. I just realize that I was not so clear. I meant the navigation arrows displayed at the bottom of pages. I do like to have two pages at the same time, as you can with reading mode, but I would like to have less margins and no navigation arrows to get more text visible. I don't think I have ever used the navigation arrows. I typically use my mouse wheel to navigate between pages.

thanks, yeah that's it it is a new "helpful feature", especially on todays netbooks and ultraportables where screen real estate is virtually unlimited - way to go MS.
