Creating a form in Word 2007

I am creating a form in Word 2007. What I am trying to do is create a "Comments" box. I have tried "rich text" "text form field" and a "text box" the problem I am having is that I need people to be able to write ONLY within the size of the box of course after protecting the document. It seems that the boxes will either expand after typing when it reaches the end of the box, or it will allow you to keep typing after the end of the box and if you drag the box down you can see the continued text. I have looked at the propeties and I see the "maxlength" problem with that is that my boss fliped out on me because depending on what words you type it will either stop you way before, thinking you still have more room to type but if you typed something else it will gow past the box. I don't know is there a way to make it only type within the boxes size ?
