You could insert a Powerpoint presentation as an object.

You can also save all your slides as images and insert the images into your document.
From within PowerPoint, File, Save As, and change the file type to jpg. You'll be prompted to save the current slide or all slides in the presentation.

If you've created some fancy pants drawings (or even if you have text) in powerpoint that you'd like to put into your Word documents, you can copy them in power point, and then do a Paste Special in Word and paste them in as a jpg. That way, you get the same layout as in powerpoint, except in a nice friendly format that Word will like. Almost as easy as copy and paste.

You can't simply attach a powerpoint presentation to a word document. Word documents aren't really meant to have 'attachments' like an email would.
If you want the slides from a powerpoint in a word document exactly as is, I recommend taking screenshots of each one (Alt+Print Screen while the slide is active) and then pasting them into the word document.
