cropped page numbers

Hello Experts
I am showing page numbers in the footer section of the word document.
They are getting cropped when I export the file to the PDF. Its loosing the top edge of the numbers.
I hope you understand what I am trying to say?
Please can someone advise how can I go about fixing these issues?

Which PDF program do you use? Does this also happen if you use the one include in Office 2007?

Its not happening on every page or on all the templates, except few pages and I am using .net script to export them to the PDF, even if I use the default office plugin to export to the PDF I can see few pages are getting cropped

Don't know it this will work, but it is worth a shot:
Choose Tools, Options, and select the Print tab
Uncheck the "Scale to fit paper" box
Save your presentation to preserve this setting

As I cannot find these options in word 2007 ?

in Word 2007, try options for word:
Advanced --> print --> unclear adjust content to A4( can be different on your end) paper size.
