What is the best method for creating a word template where the majority of the document is locked except the fields I want the user to copy and paste content into.
I am using Word 2011 for Mac. I am designing a request template form which users will fill out. The document will be a protected one. except for the fields I want users to paste content into.
This field needs to be able to be editable and grow to the size of the copy pasted into it. I intend for this to be the last field on the document, (so it can grow if necessary.)
Whatever is done has to be editable on word 2011 for MAC.

The link that was given eventually led me to the solution. (Even though I had to use Office 2010-Windows). Thanks.

the link that was provided ultimately led me to a workable solution using Word2010 (windows). The whole MAC portion of my original question was not applicable in this instance. thanks again.
Glad to know that you found a solution. I'm sorry, I don't have Word for mac, but in theory it should work on mac as well.

This document has 3 columns. left = static text, middle=form fields, right=static text. Any other ideas or helpful links you may have?
