not able to open .xls n .doc file

Tags: office 2000 problem

I am not able to open .xls, .doc file it give me message cannot access the read-only file access denied this is apply to all ms word and excel file.
Color of the font has been change from black to green.
Neither copy paste from one location to other nor cut paste.
